Children are a gift, but the role of mother can be hard to bear. The performance takes the audience through the chapters of motherhood and the damned ideals that come with it.

About the venue: Musikhus ALFA

Vesthimmerlands Musikhus ALFA is a cultural centre in Aars, built in 2008 to a concept by artist Per Kirkeby and designed by the architectural firm Kjær og Richter. The name is an acronym for the four towns Aalestrup, Løgstør, Farsø and Aars. Its main concert hall seats 420 and is acoustically optimised; the building also houses teaching rooms used daily by Vesthimmerlands Gymnasium & HF and the local music school. The programme ranges from professional concerts and theatre to stand-up, talks and a jazz club.
