The Julekalender - theatrical adaptation: Wednesday 9 December 2026, 19:30, Værket Randers, Randers. Tickets cost 450 kr.

Niels Olsen, Gordon Kennedy and Christian Damsgaard bring the cult classic from 1991 to life when The Julekalender is performed as theatre at Værket on Wednesday, 9 December 2026 at 19:30 (doors open at 19:00). The script and music were created by the same men behind the TV series - the comedy trio De Nattergale: Viggo Sommer, Carsten Knudsen and Uffe Rørbæk Madsen.

On stage you will meet all the familiar characters: Hansi, who should think you a little about, Gertrud under the mistletoe and Benny, who bobs, bobs, bobs with full vampire teeth and glasses.

Tickets cost 450 kr. (regular price 555 kr.) - maximum four tickets per order. The address is Sven Dalsgaards Pl. 1, 8900 Randers.

About the venue: Værket Randers

Værket is Randers' music and theatre venue, opened on 1 October 1990 in the historic buildings of the former Randers power plant, dating from 1887 and 1906. Architect Julius Smith's industrial architecture has largely been preserved, providing the setting for concerts, theatre, musicals, opera, ballet and comedy. The complex includes several stages - among them Ridehuset, Turbinen, the Foyerscene and the outdoor Amfiscene - as well as the café cinema KGBio. Turbinen operates as an affiliated venue for rhythmic music and club nights.
