I Think You're Awesome

For nearly 15 years, I Think You're Awesome has established itself as one of Denmark's most curious and experimental jazz bands. Their collaborators include Ole "Fessor" Lindgren, Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, the string quartet Taïga, singer-songwriter Thomas Madsen, Jakob Buchanan, Christian Vuust, and Chappe - a range that speaks to the band's unorthodox approach to music. Bandleader Jens Mikkel Madsen has won several awards for the band's music, and they have toured across most of Europe and achieved significant airplay on P8 Jazz.

The music combines a thoughtful tone with an optimistic message - delivered by six musicians who have spent their twenties and most of their thirties together, living out their friendship through the band.
