Jorja Smith

British singer Jorja Smith returns to Denmark on Saturday, June 5, 2027, performing at K.B. Hallen in Frederiksberg.

The British artist went viral in 2016 with "Blue Lights" on SoundCloud, and her follow-up single "Where Did I Go?" was praised by Drake. That same year she landed on BBC's talent list "Sound of". Her debut album "Lost & Found" came out in 2018, reached the top 3 in her home country and received five stars in GAFFA as well as praise from The Guardian and Pitchfork. Most recently she released the studio album "Falling or Flying" in 2023 and created the soundtrack to the Prime Video series "Bait" alongside Riz Ahmed.

Smith's music draws on jazz, soul, R&B and hip-hop, shaped by early listening to Amy Winehouse's "Frank", Adele, Sade, Alicia Keys and Nina Simone. She has collaborated with Kali Uchis, Stormzy and Burna Boy - the latter on "Be Honest" (2019), which has nearly 400 million streams on Spotify. She also appeared on the Kendrick Lamar-curated "Black Panther" soundtrack and today has over 12 million monthly listeners on the platform.

In Denmark she has previously performed at Store Vega in 2018, at Roskilde Festival in 2019 and at SYD FOR SOLEN in 2024.
