Morning Song takes place at Biblioteket i Herning on Wednesday, 2 September 2026 at 09:00 on the Platform. Jakob and music school teachers present half an hour of classical and modern songs, accompanied by piano. Biblioteket i Herning, opened in 2014 on Østergade in the city centre, houses five kilometres of bookshelves, meeting rooms and a MakerSpace. Morning Song is a standing tradition held every Wednesday in even weeks, and all are welcome. Jakob performs at two Danish dates in total - this concert and a performance in December at the same venue.

About the venue: Biblioteket i Herning

Biblioteket i Herning opened in August 2014 in the city centre on Østergade, designed by Kristian H. Nielsen and GPP Arkitekterne. At nearly 6,000 m², it houses five kilometres of shelving in the book section known as Dybet, two bookable meeting rooms, a MakerSpace and a café. Beyond lending, the library hosts lectures, cultural events and IT guidance, and also serves as the central library for 19 municipalities in the Central Denmark Region.
