The Christmas Riddle About Christmas Porridge (Christmas Musical)

Musicalteatret's ninth Christmas musical, "The Christmas Riddle About Christmas Porridge", runs at KU.BE in Frederiksberg from 28 November to 20 December 2026. The performance lasts approximately 60 minutes and is suitable for children from age 3 and adults.

The story begins when Santa Claus decides to retire after 1000 years on the job - right in the middle of the Christmas rush. The new Santa must be able to pull an enchanted spoon from the magical Christmas porridge, but which of the four candidates can do it? Kitchen elf Kanelia, cleaning-pig elf La Grisabella, decoration-goose elf Granersine, or stable elf Nødbert? The performance is written by Rasmus Mansachs, the songs are composed by Lars Rahbek Andresen and Rasmus Mansachs, and the director is Caroline Bang Fredensborg. Cast members will be announced in early September 2026.

Tickets cost 85 kr. per ticket + fee for all ages. Tickets are unnumbered. Exchange to another date or time is possible if you contact the ticket office at least 3 days before the performance you have booked - first check if your desired date still has available seats. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged on the day itself or after the performance has started. Contact the ticket office via "Contact organizer" on the website or at billet@musicalteatret.dk.

Wheelchair users are welcome, but as there is a limited number of wheelchair spaces per performance, you must contact Musicalteatret in advance to confirm availability on your desired date. If space is available, a regular ticket is purchased and Musicalteatret notes your arrival. KU.BE is located at Dirch Passers Allé 4, 2000 Frederiksberg, close to Flintholm station, where metro lines M1 and M2, S-train lines C, F and H, and bus lines 10, 19, 21, 26, 31 and 142 run.
