80s Party the Cool Way - Winter 2027

80s Party the Cool Way: 5 February – 6 February 2027, Gamborg Brewing Co. & Street Food, Middelfart. Tickets cost 165 kr.

After more than 10 years of sold-out events in Odense, the "80s Party the Cool Way" concept comes to Middelfart. Gamborg Brewing Co. & Street Food has partnered with Club Electric Dreams, with plans to hold the party on the first Friday of February and the first Friday of October.

Behind Electric Dreams are DJ Frank'e and Thomas Disco, both with around 40 years of experience and still active on the Danish music scene. They have performed at NorthSide in Aarhus and Tinderbox in Odense, and have hosted three sold-out parties per year at Slagteriet Eventhus in Odense for over 10 years.

The "cool" aspect of the concept is that you can have fun among peers and like-minded people without dressing up in 80s costumes - come in smart clothes or just as you are. Everything is contemporary, only the music is from the 80s. No Danish songs, no rock, and no après-ski-bar kitsch hits. Instead, it's about international, electronic quality pop songs from the 80s, both the big hits and tracks with an edge. The music is exclusively original 80s releases, many in extended versions, but no modern remixes - the original, nostalgic 80s sound is the focus.

The atmosphere is informal. Everyone over 30 is welcome, and the intimate event space at Gamborg Brewing Co. & Street Food sets the scene for the evening.
