Osramhuset Street Festival — Osramhuset, Copenhagen
Free entry

On August 29, Osramhuset hosts a street festival in the streets around the building - a day of street theatre, circus and art opening for all ages. The event is organized in collaboration with the Area Renewal at Skjolds Plads and the Danish International Street Theatre Festival, and is part of Copenhagen's Street Theatre Festival (August 23-30).

The day features several performances: a giant octopus installation with colourful arms hanging from the building's windows can be seen from 10-16. At Skjolds Plads, FierS à Cheval - a parade with floating horses and music lasting 30 minutes - takes place at 11 and 13:30. Circus Panik performs in front of Osramhuset at 14:00 and holds workshops at 11:30 and 14:30.

From 12-13 there is an opening of the new mural on Valhalsgade, created by visual artist Emmarosa Verdoner Liebgen. It is celebrated at a long table in the middle of the street with speeches, free snacks and cold drinks.

Indoors, the Little Hall is set up as a play room for toddlers and parents. In the courtyard, the volunteer-run Watt-a-cafe serves coffee, soft drinks and ice cream, and the non-profit green market Grønne Bønner - with products from Zealandic regenerative small-scale farms - is also open.
