HerLitt High: Literature Festival for Young People

HerLitt High is Herning Library's literature festival for young people, with this year's theme of fairy tales.

The day opens with a ceremony led by Katrine Zacho Bregner, better known as Moseheksen (the Bog Witch). Throughout the day you can meet her, learn about modern witchcraft, and have objects "cleansed" of bad vibes. The day concludes with a group tarot reading.

Workshops include an open jewelry-making session with Krea-U, where you create amulets and fairy-tale-inspired jewelry, and a printing workshop with Moseheksen, where you print magical spells and enchanted messages on tote bags. There's also plant sketching with ink and watercolor - drawing and painting plants' shapes, colors, and lines at your own pace, from quick sketches to deeper exploration. Throughout the day there are small happenings and a fairy-tale quiz with prizes.

The bar serves Mormors Magiske Tååst (Grandma's Magic Potion) and colorful mocktails at affordable prices. All workshops and activities are free and require no advance registration. Target audience: 15+
