From the Andes to Aarhus

The exhibition traces rivers from the glaciers of the Andes through the Amazon rainforest - from Peru to Aarhus. It explores the connections between South American river ecosystems and Denmark, and how everyday choices can affect environments far beyond our own horizon.

Developed in collaboration with students from Aarhus University, the exhibition focuses on the relationship between people and nature - particularly our connection to freshwater. Visitors can contribute to an interactive river installation by embroidering a small motif inspired by Peruvian textile traditions, becoming part of a collective artwork.
