Silver Big Band plays swing music from the 1930s to 1950s with a repertoire in the style of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman and Glenn Miller - with occasional excursions into bossa nova and more contemporary material.

Fronting the band are singers Katrine and Claus, who perform vocal numbers associated with names like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Michael Bublé.

About the venue: Egegården

Egegården is a former outlying farm from the village of Tibberup, built around 1794 as part of the Krogerup estate. Its whitewashed wings and thatched roofs stand out in an otherwise suburban neighbourhood - the building narrowly escaped demolition around 1970. Since 2022 Espergærde Byforening has held the right of use and runs it as a community venue with function rooms and a varied programme of events for all ages.
