Christmas Concert: Julie Lindell & Jan Glæsel - "Trumpet, Angelic Voices & Gospel Singing"

Singer Julie Lindell and trumpeter Jan Glæsel come together for a Christmas concert at Samværket. The programme features classics such as "O Holy Night" and "O Come, All Ye Faithful" alongside Danish and English Christmas songs, gospel numbers and original compositions - with opportunities to join in on group songs.

Julie Lindell has been a regular singer with Anne Linnet for many years, performing songs previously performed by Sanne Salomonsen and Lis Sørensen. In October 2024, she became the first ever to sing the national anthem at the opening of the Danish Parliament. She has also performed with Mariah Carey, Rick Astley, Cliff Richard, Johnny Logan, Medina, Rasmus Seebach and Burhan G, and is known from her role as a voice expert in the TV show Go' Morgen Danmark.

Jan Glæsel is a trumpeter, conductor and arranger, known from live concerts and television. He has played with Linie 3, Anne Linnet Band and Jette Torp, and been orchestra conductor in TV programmes such as Husk Lige Tandbørsten and Meyerheim & Co. He also co-wrote the hit "Det' ikke det, du siger" with Anne Linnet - it may well feature in the Christmas programme.
