Wyatt E. x Five The Hierophant

Wyatt E. returns after two years of work on the first chapter of a planned double album. The release revolves around exile, history, and mythic narratives in an experimental doom expression, recorded with two simultaneous drum kits to give the sound more space and weight. Instruments such as saz, viola, sitar, and bugle expand the sonic palette, and for the first time vocal tracks feature in the project - with an Iranian singer and a choir-led contribution. The production is assembled by a producer connected to the modern doom and post-metal scene.

Five The Hierophant from Croydon in south London has spent 10 years moving in the borderland between doom, drone, jazz, and post-metal. On "Apeiron", the many elements are woven tightly together, lifted by Jon Roffey's saxophone.
