Wyatt E. x Five The Hierophant
Wyatt E. presents the first chapter of a planned double album with experimental doom expression, supported by Five The Hierophant from London.
Five The Hierophant are an instrumental quartet from Croydon, south London, formed in 2014, working at the intersection of doom, drone, dark jazz and avant-garde metal. Their music is built on long, ritualistic compositions featuring saxophone, bowed guitars and an array of unconventional instruments. The third album "Apeiron" (Agonia Records, 2024) cemented their reputation as one of the most distinctive acts in the experimental doom scene.
Five The Hierophant is on a European tour in March 2026 with dates in Jena and Cologne, among others.
Mithraic Magazine published an interview with the band in October 2025, in which they describe their music as an experimental space without preconceived rules.
The third album "Apeiron" was released on October 18, 2024 via Agonia Records and was followed by a European tour with Thantifaxath.
"Apeiron" was recorded and mixed by Sam Thredder at Cro's Nest in south London and mastered by Haldor Grunberg at Satanic Audio.
The band's collaborative piece "Atonia" with Wyatt E and Tomer Damsky, recorded live at Roadburn 2022, was released as a live album in 2023.
