TURBULENCE

TURBULENCE is a circus performance by Out of Balanz about nature, flight, and survival - featuring an international dream team of artists on stage.

Hail the size of an adult's fist, drought, hurricanes, forest fires, and floods. Climate change is no longer something abstract belonging to the future or distant places - it is here and now. The performance explores the effects of climate change on ordinary people and the physical experience of being on the run.

Five circus artists are placed in a physical struggle where survival requires constant movement. Their acrobatic foundation shifts and is challenged, and they must invent new ways to act in order to survive. The performance is presented in collaboration with Teater Momentum.
