The trio consists of Pete Roth on guitar, Mike Pratt on bass and Bill Bruford on drums. The repertoire ranges from Roth's own compositions such as "Dancing with Grace" through trio pieces like "Trio in Five" and "Looking Forward to Looking Back" to new interpretations of classics such as Antonín Dvořák's "Largo from Symphony No. 9".

Mike Pratt plays double bass and bass guitar and is also a composer and producer. He has taught bass and composition at Kingston University, written music for Ford and FIA, and is the musical director for the live theatre production Seven Decades.

Bill Bruford is known as the drummer for Yes, King Crimson, U.K., Genesis, Gong, Brand X and ABWH, but also has a solid jazz background with recordings and collaborations with Al Di Meola, the Buddy Rich Orchestra, Allan Holdsworth, Django Bates and Chris Botti. He was inducted into Modern Drummer magazine's Hall of Fame in 1990, named by Rolling Stone as the world's 16th best drummer in 2016 and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Yes in 2017.
