About the venue
Hotel Cecil is a concert venue on Niels Hemmingsens Gade in central Copenhagen, close to Gråbrødretorv and Helligåndskirken. The building dates from 1936 and previously housed Copenhagen Jazzhouse before the current operators - the team behind Bremen Teater - opened Hotel Cecil in February 2018. The Art Deco-styled hall holds up to 350 guests and hosts concerts by Danish and international artists, comedy shows and live podcasts. The nightclub Cecil AM runs in the same space, with DJ nights and midnight concerts.
