VILDNIS

Words form in the mind - words that become voices, voices that make up who we are. Often they don't come from within, but from outside: abrupt, repetitive, creeping. Background noise and presence at once. Old, new, strange, familiar, condescending, encouraging. Who are we without the voices that control us?

In VILDNIS, two actors create a living collage of thoughts. Each evening brings new thoughts into the space and determines the direction of the performance itself. What happens when inner voices constantly dominate - do we lose the ability to listen and be present?

The play is written by Abelone Koppel and directed by Anika Barkan. On stage are Villads Bugge Bang and Charlotte Elizabeth Munksgaard. Set design and lighting by Sol Ravn, music by Mika Forsling.
