Kim Larsen - A Lecture by Helle Erdmann Frantzen

On March 11, 2027, Helle Erdmann Frantzen and Joost van Ingen present the musical lecture "The Straight Path" - about Kim Larsen and his relationship with Christianity.

When Kim Larsen was once asked where his inspiration came from, he pointed unhesitatingly toward God. On another occasion, he told how the Holy Spirit moved him when he sat composing at night. In many of his lyrics, words like grace, mercy, prayer, heaven, angels and the Lord appear, and several songs contain direct references to the Bible and the Danish hymn tradition.

As part of the lecture, a selection of his songs from the folk high school songbook will be performed.
