TINA - The Tina Turner Musical

TINA - The Tina Turner Musical tells the story of Tina's life from her impoverished childhood in Nutbush, Tennessee through her breakthrough in the 1960s, her violent marriage to Ike Turner and their divorce, to her comeback and solo career in the 1980s - and all the way to becoming the queen of rock'n'roll on the world's biggest stages.

The production features a large ensemble of singers and actors plus a live rock band. Danish singer Iris Gold plays the title role. The musical is built around 23 of Tina's greatest hits, including Private Dancer, Proud Mary, What's Love Got To Do With It?, The Best and We Don't Need Another Hero.

Tina Turner herself was involved in creating the musical about her own life and said: "It has been incredibly important to me to have the opportunity to share my story with the audience, my whole story. The musical is not about being a star, but about how I became one, about my journey there... I hope the audience captures my message, that even the bitterest poison can be transformed into medicine." - Tina Turner 1939-2023
