Family Dinner with Mette Blomsterberg
Svendborg Bibliotek, Svendborg · Free
Mette Blomsterberg is best known for her sweet kitchen creations, but this event focuses entirely on vegetables - and on getting children to eat them with joy rather than resistance.
On stage, she talks with moderator Laura Bøge Mortensen about how vegetables can become a regular part of dinner. Throughout the show, children from the audience are invited on stage to participate: they chop vegetables, blend a green dip, and stir a smoothie whose ingredients a volunteer parent must try to guess. The audience receives taste samples and small challenges, and at the tables, children can colour in cards with fruit and vegetable motifs.
The show runs from 16:30 to 17:15, and from 17:15 to 18:00 everyone sits down together for a shared family dinner featuring aubergine lasagne, vegetable sticks with dip, and smoothie for dessert. Mette Blomsterberg eats with the group and walks around greeting the audience afterwards.
The event is free but requires advance registration - both children and adults need a ticket.
