Storyville Jassband from the Netherlands has visited Vejle Jazzklub several times before. The band draws on traditional New Orleans style and English revival jazz, as cultivated by Chris Barber and Mr. Acker Bilk.

About: Storyville Jassband

This six-piece Dutch band from Arnhem has kept the classic dixieland and New Orleans revival tradition alive since 1959, with a distinctly British tinge to their sound. Eleven albums and regular Danish tours have made them a familiar name on the northern European jazz circuit.
