School: Alisik (1)

This school programme is designed for grades 6-7 (max. 28 students) and consists of three connected parts. It is reserved for public schools, free schools, and private schools in Svendborg Municipality.

1) Book tasting at Svendborg Library: Students explore themes from the comic series Alisik - horror, goth, and creatures of the night in popular culture, from Poe to The Addams Family.

2) Class set: The library lends a class set of Alisik so students can read the series before the event. The set is collected from the school after the loan period ends - this cannot be changed. The school is responsible for any missing copies.

3) Drawing workshop at Simac, Stillehavet: During CREATE Festival, Alisik illustrator Helge Vogt holds a drawing workshop for the class. The workshop is conducted in English with continuous translation and includes an introduction to the series.

The class should work with the comic series in advance and must prepare at least two questions for Helge Vogt.
