Trinelise Væring is one of Denmark's most distinctive and prolific songwriters. For this evening, she performs her songs and shares the stories behind them - an insight into a long and multifaceted career.

About the venue: Anexet

Anexet is the cultural centre at Lundsgaard Gods near Kerteminde, housed in the estate's historic farm buildings from 1887-1890 following a major restoration. Run by a volunteer association, it hosts concerts, art exhibitions, lectures, theatre, seasonal markets and conferences for up to 350 guests. The café opens on Saturdays and Sundays, and the venue sits close to both forest and sea.

About: Trinelise Væring

Across more than three decades, Trinelise Væring has moved from Scandinavian jazz and art-rock to Danish-language songwriting and North American americana. Her latest solo record A Songwriter's Odyssey (2025) was cut in Canada and earned airplay in the US and Canada, while Tone of Voice Orchestra - the large ensemble she shares with Fredrik Lundin - put out its second album Running from the Devil the same year.
