Bat Walk in Præstevang Forest
Bats are fascinating and often overlooked creatures that live hidden lives in the darkness. On this guided walk, Anne shares insights into bat behaviour, hunting techniques, and their vital role in nature. Using bat detectors, you'll have the chance to hear the ultrasonic signals normally invisible to human senses, and hopefully observe several species up close.
Late summer is an ideal time to experience bats, as they are highly active hunting insects before autumn arrives. Everyone is welcome. The walk suits both adults and older children with an interest in nature and wildlife.
