Screening of the Documentary "The Battle for Lynetteholm" at Gentofte Town Hall

Danmarks Naturfredningsforening (DN) Gentofte presents a screening of the documentary film 'The Battle for Lynetteholm' in Rådhussalen at Gentofte Town Hall on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 7 to 9 p.m. The event is free and requires no ticket.

The film (60 minutes) follows the Climate Movement and their two lawyers, Eskil Nielsen and Jonas Christoffersen, in their case at the Eastern High Court against the Danish state. The Climate Movement demands that construction of Lynetteholm be halted, citing insufficient environmental assessment and hasty political decisions. The documentary explores the case and reveals, among other things, that the state rejected the Climate Movement's expert witnesses - including Sweden's former environment minister and one of Denmark's leading marine environment experts. The film premiered on March 11 and was selected for CPH:DOX.

Director is Naja Andersen (co-director Karen Stokkendal Poulsen, producer Rikke Tambo Andersen). The film is supported by Dreyers Fond and Merkurfonden.

Following the screening, there will be a question-and-answer session with director Naja Andersen, lawyer Jonas Christoffersen, and board member of DN Gentofte Lea Gram Jacobi.
