Køge Bay has been severely damaged by gravel extraction, dumping, and historical stone fishing, leaving the bay with far too little marine life. The association Køge Bugt Stenrev works systematically to reverse this development and has, in just a few years - with support from municipalities, authorities, and foundations - established several stone reefs in the bay that create habitats and shelter for fish and small animals.

The results are already visible and measurable. Allan Scheller will talk about the work and show underwater footage from the bay.
