Winter in Folehaven Forest: A Nature Walk Through the Seasons

Winter in Folehaven: The bare trees offer fine opportunities to study the landscape. We will look at the ancient coastal cliff and learn about the area's geological history. Perhaps there will be snow with animal tracks that reveal the movements of wildlife in the cold season. We may encounter flocks of wood pigeons visiting from the far north. We might find interesting fungi such as old man's beard and some of the fungi that grow on old and dead trees.

The walk starts at 10:00 from the small Plant House on Folehavevej and lasts a couple of hours. We expect to walk approximately 5 km. Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Everyone is welcome.
