The first event will be held at Vor Frelsers Church on Wednesday, September 2. We look forward to getting started!

Evening's special guest: Morten Skovsted - who has been chair of the editorial group for 151 Hymns.

Morten Skovsted has given countless lectures since 1994, both as a historian and as a priest, and especially about hymns since 2014.

Morten has been parish priest in Hjortshøj, north of Aarhus, since 1996, and in 2011 he initiated the formation of Syng Nyt, a network that originally worked primarily to promote the new hymns, but increasingly focuses on hymn matters in general.

From 2013-2016, Morten chaired the editorial committee behind the hymnal supplement 100 Hymns, and since 2012 he has written regularly for Kristeligt Dagblad, including reviews and columns about hymns, singing, and church music.

Morten is also the originator and continues to oversee Salmer.dk, which was launched in 2017 and now contains over 2,000 hymns, both old and new.

In 2017, the Forum for Children's Hymns was established, and from 2024-26, Morten again led the editorial work as the hymnal supplement '151 Hymns' was being compiled.
