Torben Chris - Comedy

Torben Chris presents his fourth one-man show, "LatterLIG - humor vil genopstå" ("LatterLIG - humor will rise again"). For years, he has made his mark with an angry, hard-hitting and logical voice in Danish comedy, and this new show is no exception. He tackles the era's most self-important tendencies and politically correct absurdities - in other words, everything people outside social media's culture of offense think but don't say out loud. The show is not for the faint-hearted.

Torben Chris describes the past 8-10 years as a harsh period for a man with his sense of humour: political correctness has stifled comedy, and he has had to resist shitstorms to maintain the right to mock the spirit of the times. The subtitle "humor will rise again" reflects his sense that the wind is turning - but as he puts it himself, he doesn't care one bit if it isn't.
