In recent years, Hannibal and Pia have begun to wonder whether their daily phone calls express an anxiety that has been passed down through the Rosenbaum family-a family that fled to Sweden in October 1943.

About the venue: Gilleleje Museum

Gilleleje Museum is a local history museum that has told the story of this North Zealand fishing village since 1929. Four buildings cover everyday fishing life, early summer-holiday culture, and the German occupation - including the rescue of Danish Jews to Sweden in October 1943, documented through eyewitness accounts and one of the original dinghies used in the escape. The Skibshallerne hall holds some of Denmark's oldest surviving fishing boats. The museum is part of Museum Nordsjælland and opens seasonally.
