August's Artist in the Dining Hall: Ole Hansen
Brønshøj Kulturhus, Copenhagen · Free
Ole Hansen is a Brønshøj resident who lives just next to BRØK. Over the years, he has exhibited his works at community centres, nursing homes, office buildings, construction companies, and trade unions - his passion for art traces back to childhood.
In the early 1990s, he worked as an assistant to artist Poul Gernes and participated when students from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts carried out the iconic colour scheme of Palads Biograf. By profession, Ole Hansen is a trained mason and has spent his career participating in the restoration of several historic buildings, including Amalienborg, Rosenborg, Nyboder, Børsen, and Kastellet.
Opening reception on Friday, 7 August at 4 p.m. The exhibition is open during the dining hall's regular hours.
