Tree Walk in Fladbro Forest — 1. Hovedbiblioteket, Randers

Meet at Skovhuset, where the walk leads into Fladbro Forest to explore the tree species that characterize the area. Along the way, you'll learn to identify the trees and hear about their history, uses, and cultural significance - including the roles they play in the landscape and in people's lives.

The walk explores questions such as: How do you tell different tree species apart? How does a tree function? What significance do trees have for people and society? And why do many find peace and presence in nature? There will be room for reflections on time, life, and humanity's place in the world, and a bit of poetry will likely slip in.

The walk is approximately 1.5 km and lasts 1.5 hours. It is suitable for children from 10 years old and adults. The walk takes place outdoors, so dress according to the weather. It is led by tree enthusiast Jens-Ulrik Kleemeyer from Trævandringer.
