Fifty years ago, The Band bid farewell to the stage at the legendary concert The Last Waltz in San Francisco. Now Celebrating The Last Waltz returns with a tribute concert celebrating this pivotal moment in rock history.

About the venue: Elværket Åbyhøj

Elværket is a community cultural centre in Åbyhøj, housed in the former local power station built in 1913 and extended in 1927, which supplied electricity to the area until 1965. After years of work by local volunteers, it reopened in 2016 with the original red brick walls and high ceilings intact. The main hall holds up to 150 guests and hosts concerts, lectures, exhibitions and communal dinners. The venue is run entirely by volunteers and has a particularly strong music programme.
