Friday Walk: Brorfelde, Maglesø and "the Zealand Alps", approx. 14 km

Friday walk on 25 September 2026 starting from the car park at Brorfelde Observatory, Observator Gyldenkernes Vej 3, 4350 Brorfelde. Meeting time 9:25 am, departure 9:30 am.

The route first goes through Brorfelde Forest on gravel paths and then continues towards Maglesø - a small lake surrounded by steep hills. A coffee break is held here with views over the undulating landscape. If the paths allow, a detour is made into "the Zealand Alps", an ice-age landscape; otherwise the route continues around the lake. The walk ends at Brorfelde Observatory, where there is an opportunity to eat a packed lunch and look around.

The walk is approximately 14 km with a combination of gravel paths and smaller trails in good hilly terrain. The pace is approximately 5 km/h, and the walk is expected to take just under 4 hours including breaks. There are toilets at the observatory.

Remember to dress for the weather, bring drinks and coffee/tea for the break. Price: 100 kr. per person - tickets are purchased via Billetto. The amount is not refunded in case of cancellation; if the walk is cancelled, the money is refunded. Registration is only valid when payment has been completed.
