Beyond the Bit - Masterclass Bitless Dressage

Beyond the Bit is a three- or five-day event in the Roskilde area where Christophe Chaussy meets participants in Denmark for the first time. He and Mia Lykke Nielsen combine their methods in a shared programme: Mia's When Horses Choose method forms the foundation with free choice, trust and two-way communication, while Christophe builds on his understanding of biomechanics, precise timing and refined riding signals within freedom, bitless dressage and horsemanship.

The programme spans two Open Days and a structured three-day Masterclass, where the two approaches complement each other - from the horse's first free choice to refined riding. Active participants receive daily guidance from both instructors and can work with their own horse or selected horses from When Horses Choose and Christophe. Christophe's teaching is conducted in French and interpreted into Danish and English.

Tickets and prices:

- Complete five-day programme (9-13 September 2026): 7,000 kr. - includes two exclusive demonstrations and two theory evenings. Saves 2,000 kr. compared to individual tickets.
- Open Day (9 or 10 September 2026): 2,000 kr. per day - one full training day with direct guidance from both instructors.
- Three-day Masterclass (11-13 September 2026): 5,000 kr. - structured programme with individual guidance all three days.
- Private sessions with Christophe (7 or 8 September 2026): 2,000 kr. for 90 minutes - limited places available. Interpretation from French to Danish or English is included.
- Spectator ticket: 350 kr. per day incl. lunch.

All active participant tickets include lunch and beverages. Camping accommodation can be added for 250 kr. per night, and assistance can be provided in finding nearby accommodation.

Daily programme: Arrival from 08:30, training starts at 09:00 and normally ends at 17:00.
