Group Exhibition: IN PROGRESS
Trekanten - Bibliotek og Kulturhus, Aalborg
IN PROGRESS is a working collective of local artists where different practices and experiences meet. The exhibition at Trekanten presents a selection of this ongoing development and offers insight into the artistic directions that emerge from the encounter between people, materials, and ideas.
The group works with linocut printing, painting, watercolor, ceramics, object-based art, and installation. What unites the works is an interest in process, form, and personal expression - the intuitive, the crafted, and the conceptual side by side.
The name IN PROGRESS reflects an understanding of both art and the human being as something always in motion. Being an artist is not a fixed position, but an ongoing process where experience, mistakes, experiments, and insights become part of the work.
The artist collective is based at XM3 - a space for contemporary art in Aalborg East. The opening reception is Thursday, September 3 at 7:00 PM, and the exhibition runs throughout September during Trekanten's opening hours.
Exhibiting artists: Jacob Brogaard Larsen, Lone Kjær, Jane Tribler, Jon Tobias Niemi Poulsen, Birthe Bæk Pedersen, Sanne Moe, Ane Vandel Kristensen, and Mikael Madsen.
