Rock's Masterpiece: Eric Clapton - Life and Work

Eric Clapton established himself in the 1960s as the leading name in modern blues guitar, followed by a series of genre-blending masterworks in the 1970s - including albums that introduced reggae to a Western mass audience. During that decade, he cultivated a musical friendship with colleagues such as Bob Dylan and George Harrison, and in 1980 he also made a stop in Aalborg.

In 2027, the album "Slowhand" turns fifty years old, and this is the starting point for this lecture about the now 81-year-old rock legend.

The instructor is Esben Strunk (b. 1980), journalist, author and cand.mag. in literary history, for many years associated with the music magazine GAFFA.
