DR Romanklub // Monday Group

Vejle Libraries is launching four DR Romanklub groups for the 2026/2027 season, starting in November. Each group has 10 participants and meets six times to discuss six new Danish novels. All meetings take place at the library in Vejle (Engen Kulturhus & Bibliotek).

A librarian starts the first meeting, but the group then runs itself without a moderator. The library provides books and meeting space, and participants have 3-4 weeks to read each novel.

In May, when all six books have been read and discussed, each group votes on the three best novels. DR collects votes from all the country's book clubs and announces the winner of the DR Romanprisen.

The Monday group meets on November 23, December 14, January 25, February 22, March 15, and April 12 - all days from 7-8:30 pm. Participation is free, and registration for one event covers the entire series. There are 10 spots available. Registration opens Monday, September 3 at 10 am.
