DR Romanklub // Wednesday Group

Vejle Libraries is launching four DR Romanklub groups, each with space for 10 participants. The clubs meet six times to read and discuss six new Danish novels - the 2026/2027 season begins in November.

All four clubs meet at the library in Vejle (Engen Kulturhus & Bibliotek). A librarian attends the first meeting to set the programme in motion; thereafter discussions run without a moderator. The library provides books and meeting space, and participants have 3-4 weeks to read each novel.

The Wednesday group meets on January 6, February 3, March 3, March 31, April 21 and May 19 - all days from 7-8:30 pm.

Once all six novels have been read and discussed in May, each club votes on the three best. DR collects votes from all the country's book clubs and thereby crowns the winner of the DR Romanprisen.

Participation is free. When you book a ticket, you sign up for the entire programme. Registration opens Monday, September 3 at 10:00 am.
