DR Romanklub // Thursday Group

Vejle Libraries is launching four DR Romanklub groups with space for 10 participants each. The Thursday group meets six times to read and discuss six new Danish novels - the 2026/2027 season begins in November.

Meetings take place at the library in Vejle (Engen Kulturhus & Bibliotek). A librarian leads the first meeting, but the group then runs itself without a moderator. The library provides books and meeting space, and participants have 3-4 weeks to read each novel.

The Thursday group meets on January 7, February 4, March 4, April 1, April 22, and May 20 - all days from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Once all six novels have been read and discussed by May, each club votes on the three best. DR collects votes from all the country's book clubs and awards the winner of the DR Romanprisen. Participation is free, and registration for the entire programme opens Monday, September 3 at 10:00 a.m.
