When David Bowie launched his Reality Tour at Forum in Copenhagen in 2003, he had no idea it would be his last. In 2004 he was forced to cancel due to heart problems - a planned appearance at Roskilde Festival fell through. He never returned to the live stage and died of cancer in January 2016.

Fredensborg Library screens the concert recording from the 2003 tour, where Bowie appears in top form with songs from his entire career: 'Rebel, Rebel', 'Spiders From Mars?', 'Ashes to Ashes' and 'Heroes'.

This screening is the first in a series of three concert films featuring artists we lost in 2016. The next two focus on Prince and Leonard Cohen.

About the venue: Fredensborg Bibliotek

Fredensborg Bibliotek is on the first floor of Jernbanegade, a short walk from Fredensborg Castle. It caters especially to families, schoolchildren and students, with a family area for play and read-alouds, a homework zone with whiteboard and sofa, and a newspaper reading room. Beyond books, music and films, local associations can borrow three meeting rooms, and the library regularly hosts talks, workshops and other cultural events.
