Night in Nature with the Scouts

This event is for everyone, but the programme is designed with families in mind. No outdoor experience is necessary - just a desire to spend an evening and night under the open sky.

From 4 p.m. we set up camp at Spejderhytten in Agerskov. You can stay in a tent, shelter or hammock - let us know your preference in the comments. At 5 p.m. we light the campfire and prepare dinner together, inspired by the cookbook "Fire, Food and Community" published by the Danish Scout Association. Afterwards we gather around the campfire for singing, stories and entertainment.

When darkness falls, there's a chance to explore the fire in the dark, and those interested can join a night walk focusing on nature and wildlife. Sunday morning features a shared breakfast and cleanup, with the event ending around 10 a.m.

Bring outdoor sleeping gear: sleeping bag, sleeping mat and weather-appropriate clothing - including a warm jumper and a hat for the sleeping bag. Parking is close to the hut, and there is access to indoor toilets. Soft drinks and beer are available for purchase with dinner.
