As a prelude to this year's children's art exhibition, the Children's Library focuses on fantasies and fables throughout October.

Eight paintings by artist Oliver Streich are displayed in an outdoor exhibition around the main entrance of Svendborg Library - ready for a treasure hunt through his pictorial universe.

Admission is free, and no registration is required. Location: The Children's Library.

About the venue: Svendborg Bibliotek

Svendborg Bibliotek on Svinget is the city's main public library and cultural centre, lending books, films, music and digital materials. It runs author events, lectures and workshops for all ages, and every other year in week five it hosts the CREATE Festival, dedicated to comics, games and animation. The library also manages Bertolt Brecht's House in Skovsbo and Johannes Jørgensen's House in Fruestræde.
