Read on Line C

On 8 September, the UN's International Literacy Day is celebrated, and Herlev Library is marking the occasion together with six other libraries and DSB along the S-train line C.

Put your phone away and bring a book on the train. At Herlev Station and eight other stations along the line, you'll find a pop-up library with librarians ready to help you find something to read for your journey.

Between 9:00 and 15:00, a special Reading Train also runs on Line C, where you can hear authors read aloud, chat with other passengers, and borrow books along the way.

The programme is updated regularly on Herlev Library's Facebook page. The participating libraries are Frederikssund, Egedal, Ballerup, Vanløse, Frederiksberg, Gentofte and Herlev.
