Producer Evening - Mastering

Mastering engineer Marcus Gyldenløve Kyed offers insights into his approach to mastering - both as a technical discipline and as an artistic practice. The evening features an introduction to signal processing (compression, EQ, clipping, limiting) as well as loudness and the aesthetic considerations that shape the final master.

Marcus Gyldenløve Kyed has over eight years of experience in the field and has collaborated with a wide range of artists and genres. He runs his own mastering studio in Aarhus, MACH Mastering, and holds a degree in Sound Design from Sonic College.
