The Magic of the Moment - Concert Lecture

Gorm Valentin has worked as a music photographer for over 50 years, capturing a wide range of Danish and international musicians. In this concert lecture, he presents a selection of his photographs and tells the stories behind them - from backstage recordings to the moments that ended up on album covers. He has contributed to several hundred of them and received awards including the Fogtdal Photography Prize in 2005 and the DJBFA Prize in 2016. He is also a member of the Danish Rock Academy and is publishing a new art book in autumn 2026.

MISS-U Band performs live music to a selection of Valentin's photographs - modern interpretations based on the mood of the images. The band consists of five musicians: Elena on vocals, Henrik Juul on guitar, Steen Jappe on keyboards and harmonica, Claus Bache on bass and double bass, and Peter Amris on drums.
