Fredensborg Library hosts a reading club dedicated to Leo Tolstoy's 'War and Peace' - a classic many literature enthusiasts have on their wish list but never quite finished. Whether you've already read it and want to discuss it with others, or you're starting fresh, you're welcome to join.

The novel is divided into four books spread across two volumes. The reading club tackles one book at a time - approximately 350 pages - with the first meeting on Thursday, September 10. Registration covers all four meetings, and once your registration is confirmed, the library will order the book for you.

About the venue: Fredensborg Bibliotek

Fredensborg Bibliotek is on the first floor of Jernbanegade, a short walk from Fredensborg Castle. It caters especially to families, schoolchildren and students, with a family area for play and read-alouds, a homework zone with whiteboard and sofa, and a newspaper reading room. Beyond books, music and films, local associations can borrow three meeting rooms, and the library regularly hosts talks, workshops and other cultural events.
