Reading Club: Comics

In comics, images and text work side by side - and sometimes words step back entirely, because the drawings say it better. This creates a unique foundation for conversation, with room for both reflection and laughter.

The reading club welcomes everyone, whether you've read comics for years or have never really tried it. The conversation focuses on what each of us notices: what moves, provokes, or delights us. We begin with a biographical comic about the Italian painter Caravaggio, drawn by Milo Manara. At the first meeting, we'll decide together what to read next - feel free to suggest something.
