Night in Nature at the Edge of Øhavet!

Geopark Det Sydfynske Øhav invites young people aged 13+ to an evening by the bonfire at the edge of Øhavet on Saturday, 6 September 2026, 19:00-22:00. The event is organized by the Geopark's guides (https://geoparkguide.net/) and supported by Friluftsrådet through the "Night in Nature" collaboration.

The programme includes a whittling course, flatbread baked with local herbs, stories about Øhavet's past, present and possible future - including Klintholm Limestone Quarries, a UNESCO Global Geosite - and listening to nature, including tree frogs and other nocturnal animals.

Price: 20 kr. via MobilePay 52885. Registration required by 1 September via email (note: Night in Nature). Bring a blanket, jacket and a cup. Meeting point: Shelterne ved Stenagergaard. Access via the path from Stenagergaard heading south towards Lundeborg - no vehicles allowed to the shelters. Parking at Stenagergaard, approximately 750 metres from the shelters; only bicycles may be parked at the shelters.
